G.WIZ is a nice, air-conditioned, indoor activity to do on a hot, or rainy, day. The exhibits are more appropriate for an older child to interact with, but my 2.5 yr old son has FUN, regardless. He never wants to leave! I can’t say I am super impressed with the exhibits, but that’s only my opinion, and what really matters is that my child likes it. I’m glad the exhibits all work again. Last year, many of the displays didn’t work properly, and that’s just no fun for anyone. So, thumbs up, GWIZ, for getting those exhibits back in working order.

As for admission, $9 for an adult is much easier on the wallet than the $24 for MOSI in Tampa! To be fair, GWIZ is a much, much smaller place than MOSI. I used my MOTE membership to get in for FREE during these summer months. Gotta LOVE those membership perks!

On that note, I will continue to go to GWIZ, and I am happy that we even have a science center here in Sarasota. Although, I am quietly wishing for more. When I win the lotto, I’ll be sure to donate some $$$!

If you haven’t been to GWIZ, go. It’s educational and fun for the kids. And think about getting a membership. The reciprocal perks, alone, are totally worth it.
