My friends and I took our boys to MOSI and had a blast yesterday! I had never been there and I didn’t know what to expect, especially for my 2 yr old. We started in the main building and went to the 2nd floor. It was really loud from summer camp kids, plus the exhibits there were more appropriate for older kids, so we decided to skip the main building and head over to Kids In Charge! The exhibits there are designed for 12 and under. Much more fun for my little guy! He had so much fun playing, even if he didn’t necessarily know how to work everything. All the exhibits seemed to work properly, and our boys were really into everything they discovered. I didn’t see any child there who wasn’t having a good time. I wish I could have taken more pictures of all the activities in the Kids In Charge! building. There were too many kids, and I don’t want angry emails from parents wondering why their kid’s picture showed up on some random (my) website. LOL. Oh well. You may just have to take my word and check it out yourself!

Admission to MOSI is rather pricey, and I didn’t have a chance to go through the whole museum to see all the exhibits, so I won’t tell you if it is worth the price. Luckily for me, I got in free this month through a reciprocal program with my Mote Marine membership. If you are a GWIZ or MOTE member, take advantage of the added perks through your memberships! MOSI also offers membership, and if you plan to visit often, it would be a much better value than paying for only one day.
